Corner Alliance Wins Top Awards from International Marketing Communications Competition

Washington, D.C. — Corner Alliance — a leading provider of strategic planning solutions to the federal government—has won the highest awards at the 2021 MarCom Awards, an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communications professionals. This is the second year in a row that Corner Alliance has earned accolades for strategic communications and graphic design achievements, specifically. 

For initiatives supporting the Department of Commerce (DOC) National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Public Safety Communications Research Division (PSCR), Corner Alliance earned the Platinum award for two categories: Strategic Communications - Marketing/Promotion Campaign - Special Event and Digital Media - Graphic Design. According to a letter from competition organizers, “Platinum Winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity, and resourcefulness,” and such a designation is reserved for about 17% of the more than 6,000 MarCom competitors worldwide. Corner Alliance also earned the competition’s next highest award, Gold, for infographic design.

“We are especially proud to receive a Platinum in strategic communications for the second year in a row,” said Ami Ringold, Corner Alliance’s COO. “This means we’re guiding our clients towards success by solving problems with creativity—and backing what we do with proven methods and measurable results.” Since first earning awards for strategic communications and design in 2020, Corner Alliance has contracted additional branding and stakeholder engagement work with NIST programs.

Under its contract with PSCR, Corner Alliance oversees the implementation of a full range of strategic communications activities—including digital communications, stakeholder outreach, promotional campaigns, and branding. Since 2017, Corner Alliance’s marketing efforts have resulted in substantial program growth as measured by a 444% increase in PSCR’s subscribers and a 336% increase in event attendance.
