Corner Alliance Awarded NTIA Contract To Ensure High-Speed Internet Access for All Americans by 2030
Washington, D.C. — Corner Alliance — a leading provider of strategic planning solutions to the federal government–has been awarded a program development and administrative services contract with the Department of Commerce (DOC) National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) to support the Office of Internet Connectivity and Growth (OICG). This work is made possible by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) signed by President Biden in 2021. The BIL provides NTIA with more than $40 billion in funding to expand access to high-speed internet for all Americans by the end of the decade.
Three programs have been created under the BIL high-speed internet initiative:
Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program
Middle Mile Broadband Infrastructure Program
State Digital Equity Act programs
These programs aim to ensure that minorities, the elderly, and those living in rural communities, have access to affordable high-speed internet and the technological skills needed to fully engage in society.
Under this contract, Corner Alliance will partner with NTIA to develop and execute stakeholder outreach and engagement, branding and messaging, and educational workshops for all three programs.
"We are excited to be part of this major multi-billion dollar initiative to make sure all Americans have access to broadband,” said Corner Alliance CEO, Alan Pentz.
